MSUN Criminal Justice Students Participate in Student Safety Patrol

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – At the beginning of the spring semester, the Criminal Justice Program at Montana State University-Northern offered its students who are majoring in criminal justice the opportunity to earn co-op credits as Student Safety Patrol.

A press release says that these individuals are conducting foot patrol of the campus, checking Northern property for damage or loss, and assisting others. These individuals are also available to conduct safety escorts for anyone on campus.

The Student Safety Patrol operates as student schedules allow. Normally, operations are Monday through Friday from 6 PM to 11 PM. The point of contact for escorts are through the SUB Information desk. The individual working the desk will contact the Student Safety Patrol with requests for a safety escort.
